🌱A Time Of Refreshing, Renewal, and Resilience 🌱

Spring has sprung with the hopefulness of better days are ahead. We know this because we couldn't imagine anything worse or better than what last year brought.

Our Faith propels us to visualize time with family, vacations, and time with Nature. I know you are planning for better days, and I am here to give you some hacks to get you there. The home has been an important place to be this past year.

Home has been my business for over 30 years. I've noticed my desire to go deeper differently, and you probably felt the same. What I mean by deeper is living in a gratitude state of mind. I am grateful to serve my community more healthily. Many of us found our way to emerge health-focused as well.

Here are three ways to live a more wholehearted life. I define them with the 3 Rs. To keep them memorable.

REFRESHING

After the winter, our homes are often stale. They smellβ€”one thing I want you to keep in mind that you cannot smell your home. You are nose blind where you reside. To truly refresh your home, you will need more than Bath and Body Wallflowers to cover the odors.

Steps to a refreshed home a. Reorganize Drawers, rooms, cabinets, and closets. b. Spring is time for filter changes. c. You don't just want to clean. You want to disinfect all of your household surfaces; glass, granite countertops, doors, wood, electronics, appliances, and floors.

A spring refreshed home will always have clean window ceils, doors, door handles, and clean floor molding.

Here are a few hacks;

1. Often we think our homes are clean without wiping these surfaces. These are icky places that hold hair, dust bunnies, and plain ole grit and grime. Their corners hold smells. Use a LaBella Vibes Multi-surface spray. Spray it on a Magic Eraser for floorboards, molding, doors, and door handles. It makes cleaning easy. White molding, windows seals, and floorboards will glisten. The Aromatherapeutic effect will smell throughout your home.

2.If your knees can't handle crawling on the floor, get a "BaseBoard Buddy," it's on Amazon for $19.99

3. Hire a cleaning service if you can afford it. It is part of self-care. Even if you hired them three times per year, it would be worth it. WARNING: Make sure the cleaning service uses plant-based products only. If not, find a service that does. There are some out there. Your home must remain toxin-free.

RENEWAL

Our love for Spring is often associated with renewal and the birth of new things. I don't know your spring regimen, but mine is quite new this year. I have recently gained a fascination with gardening. Who Knew πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ.

This is quite strange for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous People Of Color) communities because we tend to lean away from nature for the majority. As I think about it, this shouldn't be. We are used to being healed by nature, plants, herbs, and sustaining ourselves on our homegrown foods.

Gardening doesn't take an acre and a mule😁. It simply takes want to. People are now growing food in flower pots, or like me, hand-made boxes in my yard. Many in other communities have already started considering living minimally and sustaining themselves on home grow foods.

The Jiffy Seed Starting Greenhouse Kit is $7.00 (pictured on the left). I bought the seeds from https://www.burpee.com they are a wonderful online nursery. Or go to your local department store. In a few more weeks, it may be too late.

I cannot tell you why this year, gardening is a renewal for me.

Perhaps your renewal could be making your home a beautiful place to be. During the Pandemic, my Furniture Friends told me about the sales increase in the furniture industry. I can see why. We found out that home is truly where the heart is. It may be time to get new Patio Furniture, Sleep System, or Sofa. Please don't forget the accessories. They are the jewelry for the home.

RESILENCE

This year I cannot think of a more Resilient people than our communities. Despite everything we have been through, we continue to forgive and move in the direction of excellence.

"Community Of Support"

We are buying from the BIPOC community as never before. We figured out since we are one of the biggest consumers, why not buy from one another. I have felt your love birthing this new business in a Pandemic (so tired of that word LOL)🀣. Many of us were Resilient by moving into creative pivoting, and others stayed consistent, like my daughter's business who thrived.

"Healing"

After being in a career for 32 years, then to lose a dream job was devastating. Now I know God truly moved on my behalf by giving me a business that has healed generations for centuries. The embalming oil they used on Jesus was essential oils. How truly blessed we are that utilizing essential oils for healing has gained a resurgence.

We must be mindful when they want to medicate our children to diffuse essential oils while they sleep first. Both plant-based healing and synthetic medication can work in tandem. However, plant-based goes for complete healing, and synthetic suppresses the illness to give your body a chance to heal.

"Advancement"

Whatever you have gone through, we know how to keep it moving. We are not sitting around being uninformed and allowing others to take care of us. We are learning how to follow trends, be entrepreneurial, and reign in the C-Suites of America.

We are learning to put more raw and slightly steamed green plants into our diets. Many of us have gone Vegan. I must admit, I am not there yet, but I am moving in the direction of. 🀣

Appreciation and Gratitude

Living in appreciation and gratitude produces a happier wholehearted way of living. I pray that we can get there. Aren't you ready?

Larry and I want to thank you for your consistent support of our community brand "LaBella Vibes" because we are teaching "BIPOC Mom's to clean and disinfect their homes naturally, so their children can have happier and healthier lives."

We are committed to going deep within our communities to show moms small things they can do to heal their homes naturally and get rid of toxic cleaners that are unknowingly making our children sick.

I hope you got something from this little newsletter.
